OPEN JOB SUMMARY:
Do you pride yourself in effectively helping your community? Do you enjoy working with others who share your desire to make a meaningful difference in the well-being of others? If so, TCHNetwork is seeking a Food Bank Coordinator who will assist regional food banks increase participants and provide an inclusive space for diverse community members, including adults 65+, Latinx, and low-income families.
Interested candidates must be a strong collaborator with experience in volunteer programming, including recruiting, growing, and organizing volunteers. The Spanish-speaking Food Bank Coordinator must have prior experience with logistics, planning, and program management and successful experience in community engagement and outreach to underserved populations. The ideal candidate will have lived or worked in a rural community for 2+ years, have knowledge of food insecurity and food systems, and have experience as a facilitator or consultant. She/he/they must have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant experience. Ability and willingness to travel locally with reliable transportation.
