Horn has 90% lacquer showing scratches and scuffs and general signs of use. Slides are all smooth and firm, 3rd slide moves nicely, valves are fast with excellent compression. Original hard case is in good condition, the inner door is a little loose, horn comes with the original Olds 3 mouthpiece.
Most sellers here and elsewhere are selling used and most likely dirty instruments that were stored wet and uncleaned. A little valve oil and slide grease does not make them playable or ready, playing an uncleaned instrument is truly gross. All of my horns are completely reconditioned and detailed, this is $150 service which most used horns will need. A basic clean will not remove mineral deposits, all my horns get acid baths, honed valve chambers which are finished with hand-lapping (A $50 service on it's own) and tested. All horns have a 1 year warranty and free repairs for a year as well.
