Beautiful horn with 99% original lacquer. Great player, low range is really open, one of the better Scholastics I can remember playing. All slides are smooth and firm,3rd slides moves nicely. Oversized case is in good condition, horn comes with a Blessing 7C mouthpiece.
Most sellers here and elsewhere are selling used and most likely dirty instruments that were stored wet and uncleaned. A little valve oil and slide grease does not make them playable or ready, playing an uncleaned instrument is truly gross. All of my horns are completely reconditioned and detailed, this is $150 service which most used horns will need. A basic clean will not remove mineral deposits, all my horns get acid baths, honed valve chambers which are finished with hand-lapping (A $50 service on it's own) and tested. All horns have a 1 year warranty and free repairs for a year as well.
