This vintage amp has had the benefit of some restoration and modification. Notably, the installation of a 12" passive radiator on the back. The result is that the amp is shockingly loud -- as loud as any 12" combi amp I can think of, and very full and deep. Perfect for club work, as well as practice. Bad news is that two of the plastic pot shafts are broken, though one can grasp the shafts to adjust those controls. If you are not fiddling with your amp controls all the time this should be a non issue.
The passive radiator also makes the amp couple to the room so as to avoid the sound of a bass "hot spot", and allows the drummer to hear what you are up to (though that should usually work the other way around!).
Also installed is a replacement, full-range PA speaker, which is much more efficient than the original, and reproduces highs as well as some cabinets with tweeters.
The speakers enable low B articulation. Try that on a Roland Cube!
