The Opportunity - Warehouse Worker

Western Paper is currently seeking to fill an open Day Warehouse position. This is an outstanding opportunity for motivated and talented applicants!  As a Warehouse Team Member, you’ll spend your day receiving inbound freight and putting it away as directed using forklifts and electric pallet jacks.  You will also be responsible for accurately picking customer orders. This particular position will be located at our Grand Junction location, and is a full-time, Monday-Friday role.  Applicants must be available to work from 10am to finish as there is some flexibility on end time depending on the volume of work.  There may also be an opportunity to cross train to drive a 26 foot box truck. 

We’re looking for exceptional people with the following skills:

• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet, lift, pull and kneel for up to 12 consecutive hours
• Ability to work in a faced paced environment
• Reliable transportation to work 
• Availability for potential overtime
• Comfortable using a computer
• Capability to pass pre-employment tests including a background check
