This is a 7' long industrial-grade tube spiraled with high-quality 1/2-in sisal rope. There is a natural branch incorporated into the design that extends even higher, and a steel bracket to facilitate adding a shelf (as pictured, not included). For a short while, this was mounted from my floor to an overhead beam, but I recently lost my home and thus the floor and beam to which they were attached.
What are you going to do with it? That's your business, of course, but you could mount it to a wide base (to make it freestanding), hang it horizontally between two pylons (or roped to your wall), or lean it into a corner and call it good. The flanged mount can be attached to either top or bottom. The branch or bracket could be cut off. The whole tree could be cut down to a smaller size or made into .
The rope alone is worth $80, and the hours that went into this project are priceless. This will outlast any cat (RIP, Badger) and likely you.
