We are located at 152 S Mesa St in beautiful Fruita, Co!

We are seeking Hospitality industry Pro's! Experience in the field is a must. It's been a hard year on everyone who has made a career in the field of hospitality. So if you're looking for a new start apply within!

2 Line Cooks, 1 Bar Back, and 1 Dishwasher.

Here at Koko's we strive to provide our guests with a genuinely fun and welcoming experience.
Whether it's live music, Karaoke, or excellent Tavern food you can be sure there's a little something
for everyone here. We all work very hard with a real team mentality. No matter what your position is,
working at Koko's means you are ready for anything. That being said there's no room for the phrase
"That's not my job". Being considered for a position at our family owned and operated tavern starts with
a positive attitude!

A note to anyone seeking to be considered for the position of line cook. We have worked very hard to create
our menu and design a kitchen layout with equipment that works and makes sense. That being said, we are very
much so a small scratch kitchen. We do not have a deli slicer or a robo coupe. This means you will most definitely need strong knife skills. Almost everything is ordered fresh and prepared daily. So a desire to make great food and attention to detail are the bare minimum for this kitchen. There will be no exceptions for anything less than proper food handling and a spotless kitchen.

As the Head Chef I am here everyday and I will work the line everyday with you. We are a small group of cooks and chefs back here but we have a lot of love and respect for each other as well as our craft. So while we may play music and have a lot of fun back there make no mistake this is about our guests and their experience.

I will contact applicant's who meet these requirements to set up phone interviews this weekend.

Applicant's for the position of "Line Cook" must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered!

-Must have a sense of urgency and purpose! No Tortuga's!
-Must be 18 year's of age or older
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience on the line and a deep desire for making great food.
- Must be able to be here on time. Being late is unacceptable.
-Must be able to listen to and follow directions without being offended or taking it personally. We have high
expectations and as such we have high standards.
- Must be able to follow directions specifically.
-Must be clean and well groomed! However, tattoos/piercings/beards are all of course acceptable. Please just be the best version of yourself everyday!
- Must be able to clean as you go and have an organized station.
- Must have a food handlers card or be willing to obtain within 30 day's of hiring *
- Must be willing and capable to work any and all stations on the line. Including Grill, Sautee, Fry, Prep and Pantry. Including Dishwashing. We all wash dishes. Even the Chef.

Applicant's for the position of "Bar Back" must meet the minimum requirements to be considered!

-Must move with a sense of urgency and purpose! No tortuga's!
-Must be age 21 or over. Sorry, No exceptions!
-Must be able to lift 100lbs or more. Keg's are heavy, but if you need assistance you can always ask for help!
-Must show up on time. Being late is just not acceptable.
-Must be clean and well groomed! However, tattoos/piercings/beards are all of course acceptable. Please just be the best version of yourself everyday!
-Must have great organizational skills.
-Must be able to keep things clean around the bar.
-Must be able to assist Bar tenders with any and all other tasks they may need assistance with.
-Must be personable and easy to talk to. You will be one of the many faces serving our guests directly!

Applicant's for the Position of "Dishwasher" must meet the minimum requirements to be considered!

-Must be age 18 or older.
-Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
-Must have a sense of urgency and move with a purpose!
-Prior experience is HIGHLY preferred but would be willing to train the right person.
-Must be willing to help with other duties in the kitchen such as prep and the receiving of deliveries.
-Must have open availability on the weekends!
-Must be able to understand and follow directions.
-Must be clean and well groomed.
