We’re a growing catering company looking for a solid Event Lead to help run events—mostly weddings and celebrations. If you’ve got cooking experience, can lead a team, and like working in a fun, fast-paced environment, keep reading.
What the job is like:
Bring your kitchen experience and help out with the prep for the week's events Wed-Fri.
Most of our events are on weekends, with the occasional weekday gig. You’ll be running events when the owner isn’t there—so we need someone who can step in, take charge, and make sure everything goes smoothly. (Mostly Saturdays. Locations will vary around the 4-corners area.)
Our events are fun (think weddings, parties, celebrations), and our team is positive, upbeat, and works well together. We take the food seriously—but we also keep the vibe light and enjoyable.
We do a wide variety of food depending on the event, so it helps if you’re comfortable working with different cuisine styles and adapting on the fly.
What you’ll be doing:
Prep help leading up to events. Mostly knife skills with some cooking (grill, sauté, roast, etc.)
Running events from start to finish (setup → service → breakdown)
Leading staff and keeping everyone on track
Making sure food goes out looking great and on time
Jumping in to cook, plate, or problem-solve as needed
Interacting with clients and keeping things professional
What we’re looking for:
Some cooking experience preferred
Leadership or management experience
Someone reliable who shows up on time and ready to go
Able to stay calm under pressure and figure things out quickly
Good energy—you’ll be working events where people are celebrating
Pay:
$25/hour + tips
