Franklin Mint Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States. Complete Set of 70 Silver Ingots - Completely Uncirculated and well cared for. Franklin Mint “The Official Bicentennial Ingots", issued by The Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States, contains seventy sterling silver ingots, approx. 1.85-1.90oz of silver in each ingot x70 ingots. (1.85x70= 129.5 oz silver). These ingots are packaged in cachets - envelopes with stamps that were postmarked on the 200th anniversary of the event shown on the ingot. This is one of a number of combined medal-stamp sets known as Medallic Commemorative Covers, but this set has the largest silver ingots. Recipient and address are all the same on envelope from the mid 1970's. It is very rare to find a complete set like this. Selling for $6300 on eBay!
