JITA Contracting, Inc is seeking a Business Manager, to oversee all administration, finance and bookkeeping, daily office operations, HR duties for new hires, terminations, estimating and procurement support and coordination with accounting and legal firms. Construction experience preferred.
Business Manager Responsibilities
Monthly WIP report for bonding and banking
Annual and as needed QB journal entries from accountants
Anticipate needs due to growth and business model flexibility and adjust methods of operations appropriately
Global view of all insurance policies and Cost Containment Program
Global view of all contracts (with Owners and Vendors)
Global view of assets, coordinate acquisition and disposal of assets with accountants, maintain up to date records and documentation
Global view of legal documents (registration with Secretary of State, Articles of Incorporation, etc)
Global view of certifications (ESB, 8a, OSHA, etc)
Global view of financial health, A/P and A/R; minimum Quarterly reports for error checking in QB data
Supervise Office Administrative Staff
Supervise Administrative Assistant (see related job descriptions)
Assist Estimating Procurement
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Requirements:
Must have experience in QuickBooks
Must understand General Construction Terms and Administrative Procedures
Exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills.
Excellent customer service.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of file management, and other administrative procedures.
Ability to work on tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
