From my father's estate a builder's logo identification plate, circa early 1940s. Most likely used on Baldwin railroad locomotive model VO-1000. Nickel or chrome plated solid brass (non-magnetic). Attached to the locomotive near the front steps. Very good overall condition. Some scratches and dings in the plating, consistent with age and use. Some plating has worn off the back. Blue painted background. Great looking piece of railroad history - outstanding display piece. $450.00 OBO
6 inches in diameter, 5/16 inches deep. Weighs 2 ½ pounds. Fantastic addition to your vintage locomotive / industrial / manufacturing / railroadiana collection.
